Russia recently sent troops into the small country of Georgia, which is part of the much larger unit, the EU(european union), a combination of all the small countries that make up Europe. The EU had recently been looking forward to entering Russia into its group, but this military advance has hindered their decision, and this could spark a new global conflict because the members of the EU are split on their decision of how to look at Russia's recent activities. What political action would you take towards Russia if you were a chairman of the EU?
If I were a chairman in the EU I would keep in mind that Russia is an active world power...And they won't lose Russia as an ally only because of Georgia conflict. So the only thing they can do, and are doing is trying to figure out who's right and who is wrong, without harsh judging...
I believe that there should be serious negotiations. Russia's activites should not warrant global conflict because violence is not the answer. However, I think that Russia should be negotiated with in order to protect the rights of Georgia.
I think that negotiations must be done but we can not let Russia just walk all over Georgia. We can not allow the invasion of a small country start a global conflict.
